Everything I see eventually turns out to be a metaphor for God. (I love that.) And everything that happens, happens so that I can learn something else about love. And everywhere I go, I see myself reflected, which is why I'm so happy to find myself here!

I am a mommy, a teacher, a spiritual counselor. I am an enthusiastically flawed being tripping over the occasional pothole on this path, and even as I curse my fate I find myself face down in a bank of flowers at the side of the road. Life is juicy. And it smells like wildflowers and honeybees.

 
I am practicing compassion, because I haven't perfected it yet. And forgiveness. I know that every squidgy little smidgen that I grow is magnified a zillion times over in the world. Because that's how god rolls (unfolds?) So practicing is how I help to make the world a better place. It's the least I can do… . .
